Pilot Terms and Privacy notice
SAISA is a prototype being tested with a small number of universities in Mogadishu. This page explains, in plain language, what that means for you.
What SAISA is right now
- SAISA is a prototype being tested with a small number of universities in Mogadishu.
- Anyone may create a general user account. Students are the first group invited to become creators.
- Features are still being added. Parts of the app are marked as not yet built, and those labels are accurate.
Your account
- One account per email address.
- You choose whether you are a general user or a student. This choice gives you no special powers inside SAISA.
- Administrator and moderator roles are given by SAISA staff only. You cannot give them to yourself, and nothing you type into a form can change your role.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time during the pilot.
Identity verification
- Confirming your email address only proves you can read that inbox. It does not prove who you are, because anyone can create a free mailbox in a minute.
- Because of that, SAISA does not handle real money at all: there is no top-up, no payment and no withdrawal in this version.
- Identity verification will be required before real-money withdrawals or other protected financial actions. The pilot verification method has not yet been finalized.
The three balances
- Purchased Credits are bought with money and spent inside SAISA. They cannot be withdrawn and cannot be sent to another person.
- Reward Points are earned through participation. They are not cash, they cannot be withdrawn, and they cannot be sent to another person. You receive 50 Reward Points once, after completing registration. Benefits unlock at 300 points. During the first month Reward Points have no dollar value.
- Verified Earnings come from real completed work, such as approved tasks, services or creator revenue. They are the only balance that may ever be withdrawn.
- Credits and Reward Points can never be converted into Verified Earnings.
If you publish a project
- You own your original applications and ideas. SAISA does not take ownership of them.
- Publishing on SAISA is non-exclusive: you may publish the same project anywhere else at the same time.
- On transactions completed through SAISA, the long-term platform share falls to 5% and the creator keeps 95%. While SAISA is recovering documented investment in a specific app, a higher share may be agreed in writing for that app only.
- Saying you are interested in creating does not make you an approved creator. Applications and approval open later.
Fair use
- Creating extra accounts to collect rewards more than once is not allowed.
- Buying your own service to manufacture earnings is not allowed.
- Future withdrawals will require verified identity and manual review during the pilot.
What we store
- Your name, email address, account type, and — if you are a student — your university and optional programme.
- Which registration link you arrived from, so we can tell which university outreach is working.
- Your wallet balances and a record of every change to them.
- Your password is handled by Supabase Auth and stored only as an irreversible hash. SAISA never sees it, never stores it in its own tables, and never writes it to a log.
- SAISA does not collect medical records or patient data of any kind.
This notice is written for a prototype pilot and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It must be reviewed and replaced before SAISA accepts real payments or pays anybody out.
