Creator Submission Rules
What SAISA needs from an app before it appears in the catalogue, and what you keep.
You own your app
- You keep full ownership of your app, your code and your ideas.
- Listing on SAISA gives SAISA permission to display, promote and link to your app while it is listed. Nothing more.
- That permission is non-exclusive. You can publish the same app anywhere else at the same time.
- You can ask for your app to be removed from SAISA at any time.
SAISA does not host your app
- SAISA is a catalogue. You host your app yourself and give SAISA the link.
- SAISA does not accept uploaded code, ZIP files, repositories, HTML or scripts, and never runs anything you submit.
- Your app must be served over a secure https:// address.
- Your app opens in a new browser tab. It is never shown inside SAISA in a frame.
What your listing must contain
- A truthful name and one-line description.
- A category that matches what the app really does.
- An honest summary of what data your app collects from users.
- A support contact, so users can reach you when something breaks.
- Images, if you add them, must be your own or something you have the right to use.
What is not allowed
- Apps that store medical records, give medical advice, or diagnose anything. Appointment booking only.
- Apps that collect national ID numbers, bank details or mobile-money PINs.
- Apps that copy someone else's work, brand or name.
- Apps that mislead people about money, jobs or results.
- Gambling, adult content, or anything involving children.
Review, and changes after approval
- Every app is read by a person before it is listed. Approval is not automatic and is not guaranteed.
- Being listed does not mean being featured. Featuring is chosen by SAISA and cannot be bought during the pilot.
- If you change a published app's name, description, category, images or link, it automatically leaves the catalogue and returns for review. This protects users from a link being changed after approval.
- An app can be suspended if it breaks these rules, stops working, or turns out to be misleading.
Money
- SAISA pays nothing during the pilot, and promises no income.
- There are no payments, top-ups or withdrawals in this version.
- If money is handled through SAISA in future, the intended split is 95% to the creator and 5% to SAISA, after any separately agreed cost-recovery arrangement for a specific app.
- That split is not implemented and nothing is owed either way today.
